RARE, Hand Signed postcards of the Miser Brothers from RANKIN/BASS designer PAUL COKER, JR.

Paul Coker, Jr. is the man most responsible for the Rankin/Bass look! He designed most of their classic TV Specials, including Frosty the Snowman, Santa Claus is Comin' to Town (which celebrates it's 45th Anniversary this year), Here Comes Peter Cottontail, 'Twas the night before Christmas and The Year without a Santa Claus (Starring the Heat and Snow Miser).

Paul is also known for his Mad Magazine work and a series of Hallmark Greeting cards. Not only did he design the Rankin/Bass stable of characters, but he also produced the lettering used in the credits and on buildings and signs. He designed all of the Variety magazine and trade ads, seen in our books too. We have Paul Coker, Jr. here at miserbros.com for the holidays of 2015!

“Paul Coker's work was very animatable, where Jack Davis' art wasn't translated quite as easily. We decided to do Frosty the Snowman and 'Twas the Night before Christmas in cel animation, because we wanted that Paul Coker Christmas card look for those stories.” -Arthur Rankin, Jr.

Set of two(2) Postcards, Hand Signed by Paul Coker, Jr. and Printed on thick coated card stock. Sized at 5″ x 7″. Perfect for framing!
